Milton Rural Landcare applied for and was granted money to cover 15 fire affected properties helping them to weed and revegetate land that was burnt in the 2019/20 fires that ravaged the Shoalhaven. Primary and secondary weeding has helped reduce overzealous weeds and encourage native vegetation to flourish along with planting of areas that were too burnt to sustain a seed bank and regenerate on its own. All work took place over a short 18 month period.
